About Us
History
Hall Bros started out as a local marine engineering firm in the 1950s which became a limited company, Hall Bros (Bridlington) Ltd, in 1975.
Having purchased a mobile crane to lift heavy parts to and from boats on Bridlington harbour, we soon began receiving requests from local clients to use the crane for a variety of other lifting jobs and our involvement in crane hire began.
Unfortunately, the decline of the local fishing industry and the loss of personnel meant that Hall Bros (Bridlington) Ltd ceased to provide marine engineering services in the late 1990s.
We have been heavily involved in crane hire for over 30 years now, and currently operate a fleet of mobile cranes from depots across Yorkshire (Bridlington, York and Selby). Our fleet is currently made up entirely of Liebherr cranes.
Hall Bros (Bridlington) Ltd absorbed the mobile crane hire operations of its subsidiary, HB Crane Hire (Hull) Ltd in 2007.

Our Subsidiaries
Hall Bros (Bridlington) Ltd has a subsidiary company, Hall Bros (Fuels) Ltd, which was formerly our fuel oil and lubricants division. It became a separate company - Hall Bros (Fuels) Ltd - in May 2005 in order to focus its attention solely on our broad base of fuel and lubricants customers. Hall Bros (Fuels) Ltd is an Authorised Distributor for Jet, providing kerosene, gas oil and diesel to domestic, industrial and agricultural customers across Yorkshire and Humberside.
